Type of vitamin A

Vitamin A does not refer to one single vitamin but it is a collection of compound known as retinoids . Retinoids caa be found both in the human body sime other food source .

Function of vitamin A

Vitamin A support several function through out the body but most important function is support vission and immune system.

*Vitamin A also play role in bine growth , reproduction , cell division.

*Vitamin A regulate immune system and increasing fighting to infection.
 
*Vitamin A is necessary for cell growth deficiency may slow on prevent growth in children.

*Vitamin A is also useful for hair growth deficiency lead to alopecia (Hair fall).

Source of vitamin A

Vitamin A is mostly richest dietary source are animal liver , fish liver oil , butter.
Vitamin A is present many animal tissue plant do not contain vitamin A but many dark green plant including the famous carrot contain carotenoids . Vitamin A is stored in liver as retinol ester when needed exported into the blood .
 Vitamin A is observed from dietary source in small intestine.

Vitamin A deficiency/disorder

Vitamin A deficiency is not common in development country . However vegetarian are at a high risk of this deficiency because the not get some kinds of vitamin A through their diet  
   Sime sign of vitamin A deficiency include

*Hair loss
*Dry eyes
*Blindness
*Reduce immune function
*Skin tissue

Over dosage of vitamin A

It is possible to reach toxic level of vitamin A this condition is called hyper vitaminousis people who vitamin A supplement or extra amount of fish liver oil are ate , the higher risk pregnant women should not double dosage of vitamin A high level of vitamin A are harmful to the growing of fetus.
